4854posts Ā· Joined 2007. #1 Ā· Feb 7, 2012. This is a quick guide for anyone with the problem of a (B6/B7 Audi A4) boot latch that wont close. Remove the warning triangle and its housing. This plastic cover simply pulls off. Unscrew this screw behind the handle. The carpet/ hardboard trim pulls off every 6 inches or so by pulling off these clips.
